Hi Ma’am,
Good Morning!
I am Honey and I need your advise. I would like to ask if this XXX XXXX Consultant is authorized in Canada because they offered me an Express Entry with processing fee of 7500 dhs only.. I would like to know why is it in lesser amount. Currently I am working here in UAE.
I saw your name appear in Pinoy Canada forum.
Thank you po.
Honey

Dear Honey,
Thank you for your inquiry. You can check if the company through the website of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC), the regulating body of all Registered Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC). First go to Find an RCIC page. Once on the page, click the highlighted link that says “Registry.” This will take you to a membership page which contains the list of RCICs and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs). Make a search for the immigration consultant or the company name. Your search results will show the name of the consultant, his/her status and his/her corresponding ID. The registry also shows the current status of the RCIC that can be one of the following:
- Active
- Administrative Suspension
- Disciplinary Suspension
- Administrative Revocation
- Resigned
- Leave of Absence
- Deceased
- Active (Practice Restricted)
- Disciplinary Resignation
- Resigned – Called to the Bar

If the search results show that he/she is not a member in good standing then it makes sense that you don’t use the service.
When your search results says ‘No Results Found’ it means the company or person you are transacting with is not a licensed immigration consultant.
I hope this information is helpful and good luck.
Regards,
Gerardine Alcalde, RCIC
